No, I'm not talking about Flintstone-braking. ;)

I'm talking about your shoes!

Mostly I'm interested in those that race and Auto-X. But those who are nutty enough about driving to actually choose their footwear to suit it can chime in as well. :)

What shoes do you wear when driving aggressively?

Vans, or anything with a smooth, thin sole. Any kind of knobby sole, like hiking boots or Docs, and I have to drive like a granny.

Anyone tried these yet? The soles look like they could make Heel-Toe driving easier.

What do you think? Good, or gimmick?

I like my Vans since I discovered that the nice flat sole, that is also a bit soft and gummy make a decent shoe to drive in. To me, they are easier to heel/toe shift than other shoes. Though I have never tried actual 'driving shoes' as they just look silly when you're not in the car :)
