Well, since August I've been wanting to get some pictures of my WRX up and going. A new battery for the camera, waiting to get my indiglo gauges installed, and $11 for the developing, and bang! HERE WE GO!

Edit Note : The pictures work, however Geocities seems to have something that prevents the links from working 100% of the time. You can right click the link and save them to your desktop, or copy the link and enter it directly into your browser.
Otherwise, here's a link to the website they are containined on.

Thanks for the compliments!
I do love my car, and the 2 dents in it are driving my crazy! Especially since I don't have the $$$ to get them taken out.

Anyway, for those of you having trouble, here's some pics I'll directly place on here of mine!

For those of you Connecticut drivers... You'll know it's me from the fact you don't see this anywhere in CT other than where I am, and to add in... Initial D music is always blasting from the stereo!

Last one I'll add, because no picture I have other than this can strike fear and love at the same time as much as this...

Father vs Son

Blue vs Blue

Performance Upgrade vs Style Upgrade

Conservative vs Agressive

Together we haunt Connecticut as Team E.

Double your pleasure, double your enjoyment!
Double the WRX!

Given a few months, I'll have my next 3 upgrades.
the JDM STi headlights, aluminum interior trim kit and WRC windshield decals. After that, I'll end up going after a stage 2 turbo upgrade and have 4-point seatbelts installed.. From there on, it will all be sicker and sicker upgrades until the car can suck on any road any condition and still have room for desert! :D

Sadly, my father with the performance upgrade doesn't even notice the power increase. All he knows is that his car is louder. I' drive it every now and then, and I notice the difference. Not much, but it's there. I suppose it's like the difference between a 450mhz computer and a 550mhz computer!

My goal though? I want to swallow the Lancer Evolution whole and spit out the driver's bones without the slights effort.

Actually, the best part about that is... When he was buying a car, I convinced him out of buying a BMW 330xi loaded up, and buying the WRX instead!
The man one day was all about comfort, luxary and social standing with the car. Being a doctor and all, a BMW would be a great car to show up at the country club with! Hehe!
He was all ready to buy the BMW! Setup the car, had it being ordered for him and was about to make the down payment. BANG! The day before, I got him to take a second test drive in a WRX. 30 minutes later he was signing the deal!

How cool is that! A 54 year old guy driving a WRX with a Stage 1 Turbo. He's all about this stuff now! He's thinking about getting a Lancer Evolution as well, and trading his WRX in for an STi and upgrade that for more power!

Sucks I work in retail! Otherwise I'd have a Stage 2 on my car already and a Stage 3 Suspension with all the other goodies!

Funny when we go out. 2 blue WRXs parked next to eachother. We've run into people who love the car and go into shock when they see us pull up. Eh... His might have the Turbo upgrade, but it's hard to deny... Mine simply looks better!

Even as much as I think my car kicks a** though... Every WRX is sweet! I see plain WRXs with stock wheels and no spoiler, and it's still the coolest car on the road! As somebody said on one of the Evo boards about the style of the Evo 8... It's not about what it looks like, it's what the car can do that matters!

VIVA LA WRX! :D

PS : and to think a year ago, my dream car was a Lambroghini Diablo replica from a Pontiac Fiero, loaded up! Course... That would still be HOT! CHICK MAGNET! ;)

Could I have seen you on 684 or the Saw Mill Parkway in New York? I drove by a blue WRX with big wing on those roads a couple of months ago. Looked really good.

Just got to love the WR Blue with P1 Golds.

Zapix:

Looks like we very much have the same set-up. Only problem I find with the 22B adjustable rear wing, when you're washing the car, all the water gets caught up on the boot lid.

With the STi lights, they will give your car a different look for sure! :)

I was in Virginia back for Thanksgiving. I left on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, late at night. I went from 95 South to the NJ-Turnpike. On the way back up from Virginia, I was on whatever the main highway 95N back the NJ-Turnpike. If it was in that area, it might very well have been me.

I did happen to run into a Blue one on the way down which I drove with on the NJT for an hour or so, until we went our seperate ways. Then I happened to come in contact with a red one on the way back a few minutes before reaching the NJT.
Both I stuck with like glue.

Oh yeah... For you WRX drivers who I run into... Beware! I have an obsessive behavior to follow, or even change my destination for a short while to chase it!

WRXs are automatic targets when I see them. You can show me a Civic with an aluminum wing, and I'll forget all about it at the very sight of a WRX. Not that I want to race or anything, but I have a overwhelming interest in scaring the hell out of people on the road with 2 or more of these godlike cars. Never enough time to remind the rest of the drivers out there where the 'real' car is!

Yeah, I know what you mean. I just swing the spunge over it really fast knocking it away. Heh, course once I wash my car, I jet dry it! A little highway driving at 80 to 110 does the job! ;)

My overall goal on design if nobody has figured it out yet...

WRC replica with a little of my own styling here and there.

To think I thought the WRX looked stupid when I first saw it about 9 months ago! I thought it was some silly looking car that was equal to that of the Kia! I was totally stuck on the idea the Evo was the only car of it's class. Initial D has that effect. Imagine my shock when I read that the Evo was competition against the WRX. And since my fathers life was saved by the WRX mysteriously taking 2 bullets without penetrating beyond the outside body... The WRX to me is superior to any and all cars.

So, my goal is to create a replica of the car that make it start, with my own taste added, and sink the very car I thought was the best car ever into the ground..

Perhaps the WRX has turned me into a racer, and made me very arrogant torwards other drivers other than WRX drivers. 23 and with a sport car like this can do that I guess. The only car I fear is the Evo, because I know what it can do. The STi is the only hope for stock version to blow it away, and I hope Subaru does everything to do that. In the meantime, i will do all I can to create a WRX that will not only sink the EVO, but catch the eye of people all over, and give a reputation the the WRX that will never be forgotten... The WRX owns the road, and there is no competition in the world... American, German, Japanese or Italian.
