Was searching around on ebay, and ran across JDM sti door panels for an 02 wagon. The only problem is the master switch is on the right side(obviously) Are the door panels on these cars two piece? From the looks of it, it looks like the pocket with the switch and door handle may be removable(like on my trailblazer, the arm rest is removable), which would make it easy to keep the window controls on the correct side.

Nothing? No one can tell me the door panels are two pieces?

*edit*

Was able to find pictures of some panels and it seems they are all plastic riveted on. Not as easy as I was hoping.

What is a "master switch" on a door panel? Since you talk about it being next to the door handle I assume you're talking about the manual door locking switch? Or are you talking about the electric door lock switch?

Yes, that "pocket" as you call it is removable as it is on most cars. It's held in my a couple of plastic tabs on the back that hook into the door panel, plus a screw in the middle that goes into the metal of the door. I don't think there are any "rivets" holding it on.

I don't think this sounds very straight-forward. Have you tried emailing the seller and asking if he has any left-hand drive (i.e. USA) door panels?

I am not ready to buy yet, hell I dont even have the car yet. I just saw them and thought they looked good. Yes I was talking about the window switch. At least by looking at this picture they look rivited on

The handle where the switch goes isn't in that door and goes in the plastic piece that fills the big hole. The part that's riveted on in that picture is just sound deadening and general protective panel.
