Hi. I just opened my hood and noticed a ton of dead leaves on my intercooler. Should I be worried about this? I cleaned them all off.

Clean and be done

It's just a radiator for air essentially, so it'd be no different than your coolant radiator, so you're fine like zax said. My carbon scoop came with a large mesh insert, so I've never had to clean leaves out of mine. Lol
I used to clean them out, whenever I happened to have the hood open for something. They never seemed to accumulate in a way that worried me. (covered up a large area of the IC)
I had an oil change with my 2012 once and when the hood was opened there was dead bird wedged into the front of the IC.
I mean having flammable leaves in the engine bay isn't a great idea, I would recommend keeping them cleaned out. If you can look under the intercooler they can collect there, or at least they did on my car

That has to count for at least 50 points.

To the OP: I'd file a warranty claim. If that doesn't work, contact your insurance. If that doesn't work, pray for mercy. If all of the above doesn't work, just reference your own answer in your original post and clean the leaves out. If that doesn't work, push the car off of a steep cliff and try the warranty claim again.
