I found that a shammy really saves the thumbs when de-badging. Also WD-40 works fine for removing the goo along with a shammy, after flossing off the badge.
I couldn't bring myself to remove the S-U-B-A-R-U yet. May in the future...
What I did is removed the WRX/impreza badge from the left and it looks cleaner.
I would be more inclined to remove the S-U-B-A-R-U if the trunk key hole could be taken out re-surfaced and painted to look as if the key hole was never there. The key hole really stands out to me on completely de-badged WRX's.
Has anyone done this? With success? How much?
