I have a 2002 WRX with an EJ20 engine I'm rebuilding. When I inspected the heads, this is what I found... The engine ran previous to this, but did misfire at high rpms.
Am I completely screwed here? The code stamped on the heads is RHS20/LHS20 005.
The crack runs through from the valve to the plug. Personally I'd call it and get new ones. All that's going to happen is expanding and contracting along that crack and it growing.
