Cobb J-Pipe install

Hi Guys got a quick question or dilemma should I say. I've installed a jpipe on my 2016 WRX the pipe went on fine but I'm having issues with one of the shield on the top. I'm unable to line up the bold correctly.
There are 3 bolts holding this in place 2 come in from the top and bottom and one smaller bolt straight in. Actually here's a pic... the shield with the big arrow far screw on the right.

Has anyone else have a problem with this shield? I thought I saw the guy from the last human garage say he had the same issue and cut a piece out it. Or perhaps I'm just not doing it right. Any help or advice would be grateful.

Do you see anything hanging up on the shield? Perhaps the larger pipe diameter, or flange thickness causes interference. Sadly I've not installed one on a fa20f, so I'm just stabbing in the dark.

Also, what did they have to remove to have it fit?

i had the same problem. try hammering the socket on the nut then get the wrench on it and try that. one of them i ended up rounding the nut and had to get it with a chisel and a hammer and keep going at it till it turned loose
Oh it's taking it off that's the issue. Sorry man I ham hand bolts and break them off in things. I have no positive helpful information for you.

Nono.. it's putting it back on that's the issue. In one of the videos from the last garage he ended up cutting a piece off and sliding it on like that. Instructions from cobb dont say anything about cutting anything though.
Can you see what it's catching on?

The holes dont line up. Its either or, if I get the screw on the right side on then the other side doesnt line up.
Maybe its defective??? Holes misdrilled?

It was all lined up when I removed the stock jpipe. Its when reinstalling it back on with the Cobb jpipe that things don't line up correctly.
