Wassup guys, I have a 2011 wrx Sedan blue mica, want to change the color of the car the guy that I was going to do the job with is charging me 2,500. Not painting the hood because I bought a carbon fiber one. He will be fixing the frame of the car which is minor and I have small dents and scratches. Do you think his price is reasonable? Paint is not a pearl nor metallic nothing special. Buffing included. Green color from BMW

If you want it to look really good you'll need to media blast the panels, and use filler or pull the dents, wet sand and paint.

2500 for a spray seems steep, but not unreasonable for good paint.

$2,500 USD?

Not unreasonable for a thorough job because labour is expensive in the US.

I’d never do this though. I doubt a full colour change would be done as thoroughly as I’d like since I doubt that price include a bare chassis patch up and spray.
