Me and the buds from Citi go to the casino tonight...

I only took out $100 from the ATM to gamble with. It was a friend of mines birthday, she didnt want to gamble tho... Eventho that is her last name. :)

I started betting with $60, ended up turning that into $300... So up $240 on the night, with a few tips to the dealer ;)

My gambling addicted friend Kevin decides he would like to only bet $100/ hand. So he plays the $100 he has, and loses. Then goes to the ATM to withdraw $400. Comes back and loses that. So he is down $500.... Goes and gets another $500 out, heads to another table... Wins $435 off of that... AT one point IIRC he was down like $900, or he had $900 out playing... Ended up walking out of the casino with $1075, up $175... haha he had to leave to go to a poker tournament... Good times, good times... Going back tomorrow. :)

Took a semi-brief detour down the gambling road. Word of advice: don't let it become a regular thing. The ease in which you can win $$ gets it in your mind that somehow it'll happen all the time. You find yourself downplaying the hundreds of dollars that you're actually losing (overall) by focusing on the times you win.

Scary stuff. Just keep it small and casual.

edit: sorry for the attempt at parenting  but i felt the need to type that. have fun w/ your friends.

Gambling is fun. I bet on ten horse races recently and didn't win a single one, but I still had a good time. Shows how smart I am :wiggles:

Don't worry. My boyfriend was like "I won $17,000 in January from the casinos."

I'd tell my mom this and she' just ask,"How much did he lose, though?"

(Looky, I'm back. Haha)

Anyone hear on Stern that loser KC won $330,000 for a royal flush playing online, only to continue playing, and he lost it ALL in a week.

I would think that once you got down $100,000 you'd stop. Oh well, at least he can still get money cleaning Beatlejuice's underwear.
