Car meets/shows in NYC area?

Hi, I'm pretty new to this site, I'm just curious, is there any local car meets in the NYC area? If so, do they accept high schoolers (me being one) ? I would like to know how I can get into the local scene, having been used to Albany. Thanks.

Thanks for the location, but sadly I cannot head outside of the 5 boroughs of NYC, other than Nassau, so is there a car meet that meets in that area?
