Hello Everyone,
I have a 2003 WRX Sedan. I just bought the car last month and I was wondering why the car would be shuttering when I downshift. It happens every time I downshift unless I'm going very slow into the the lower gear, about 2000 rpms. This happens right as the clutch fully engages. The funny thing is that if I rev-match it, it slides right in. I also cant downshift into first at all when moving (not that you should) it grinds when I try. It sometimes kicks out of first on hills when I start to drop the clutch. Weird
If it helps, my mechanic said the clutch is fine, his "best guess was a warped flywheel"? I figured it would run a lot worse if it was a warped flywheel. Thanks for any help.
