I bought my car tuned, an 07 WRX with VF48, FMIC, EWG, full catless exhaust, and a tune of course.

It had a GrimmSpeed EBCS plugged in but had no lines going to it, instead it was running on a MBCS, hit 16lbs constant, would go to 17/18 on highway in 3rd/4th.

Hooked up EBCS today, reset ECU. Makes the good EBCS noises, hits 20psi at peak.

I ran very rich before which is part of why I think its already tuned for this, but some guys are saying to stay safe and not boost in case it causes lean detonation.

In my head I'm thinking I'd trip a lean CEL if it actually happens right?

Your options are data logs or the Psychic Friends Network. Data logs are probably a safer bet. Nobody knows without the data.

If it's mapped for the EBCS, why was that disconnected? (See what I mean?).

I'd worry.
