I know it's probably a stupid question, but can you?
I hate seeing a peek of my car in a reflection somewhere then getting blind sided by an ugly yellow hue that looks like itd come from a buick. I think I noticed I can't have the c lights on while driving too?

I also would like to know how to shut them off, but still be able to turn the high beams on if that’s possible?

Not that I know of because i believe they are required in some places.

Some vehicles you could swap the dash knobs for the European versions but I don't think that is an option on the Subaru.

As a road cyclist, I have come to appreciate the use of daytime running lights as it really helps me see cars and i think it adds a level of safety when I ride. (Also i have come to dislike tinted windows as i can not see the eyes of the driver. I like to make eye contact with drivers at the intersections so i make sure they see me.) So i definitely think DRLs do serve a purpose.
