I got some camber bolts for the rear. Now I noticed all the camber bolts I came across have a torque limit to 100 ft-lbs. The original wrx bolts in the rear are supposed to be torqued to 160 ft-lbs.

Will torquing them to 100 ft-lbs instead of 160 cause any problems ? Any danger ?.

You've got me by the shorts on this one. I have aftermarket camber bolts on all four corners and have no idea what torque spec was used. I did, however, have my alignment done by Proalign so I am confident the work was done right. Proalign is one of the best alignment shops on the East coast. All of the bolt holes had to be hogged out to allow for my drop of 2".

Sorry I can't help.

Crash bolts ?. Are you trying to imply the camber bolts are unsafe ?

Are camber bolts easy to install? My car is due for an alignment and I don't want to pay them extra just to install the bolts. If I can just put them on, they'll adjust them for free.

I wouldn't think they'd charge you as they have to loosen the strut bolts anyways to do the alignment. Easy to put in, the strut bolts can tough to loosen w/o air however.
