lets not trash talk this one guys. thats about all i hafta say right now

Hey guys... well I suppose Alex got his revenge. Sometime this morning (about 1:30 EST) he hacked into my account on GoDaddy and transfered the i-Club and Impreza-RS domains to his own freshly created account on GoDaddy. Since he appeared to be logged in as me there is nothing I can do to get the domains back.

What he did is both illegal and completely immoral and he will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I hope the summers are mild in Turkmenisten.

I have already registered NASIOC.com (North American Subaru Impreza Owners Club - what's under our current logo). So instead of getting into a legal battle that would take months and cost a fortune, Alex can keep the domains. Over the next few days we will be transitioning to that domain name. I will contact everyone via e-mail if there are any problems with this switch.

Alex... you are the weakest link... Goodbye!

Honestly the whole f'ing situation is rediculous! Nick tried to do the honorable thing and be a man about the situation... Alex, has a right to be pissed but he's losing face with alot of old school i-clubbers, vendors and numerous others.

It's sad to see things fall the way they have but with every great empire, eventually there will be a day that it will fall.;) :(

Re I-Club: There are some real buttholes there. But the technical assistance is top notch.

I like the people here much better.

My sentiments exactly.

My unpopular opinion is that off-topic started to get crazy there and the "jerk" and "silly" attitudes spilled over into the tech. forums and that was the beginning of the end... :(

This Just In

Hey Bask Oner,
Pardon the mass e-mail, but this message is going out to all the members of the i-Club just to let you know we are changing our domain name and we didn't want to lose anyone in the shuffle.

The new domain name will be http://www.nasioc.com/. We had a bit of trouble over the existing domain name ownership, so unfortunately i-club.com had to go away. :(

The change to the new domain name http://www.nasioc.com/, which stands for North American Subaru Impreza Owners Club (the long name for i-Club) will take a few days to appear on the internet.

If you have any problems reaching us at http://www.nasioc.com/, then you can reach us through our direct IP address, http://216.242.153.40/, until the new domain starts working in your neck of the woods.

And if you haven't been back to the site in a while please visit, we've grown quite a bit in the last few months. And stay tuned the i-Club is in for some great changes in the near future that I'm sure you will enjoy.

He says he will prosoucte the hacker to the fullest extent of the law, but yet he says he wont pursue him in court?
