I've literally never heard of this turbo.

Do you mean VF37?

You are posting wtih an IP Address registered in New Zealand. Is this correct?

Did you import your vehicle from another market?

I was under the impression that a 2007 STI sold in New Zealand came with a 2.5L EJ257 engine, but admit that I may be incorrect. If this is true, your car has a VF43 turbo NOT a VF47.
