Just curious if anyone else is using these.

My WRX and my fathers WRX are both equipped with these 'ultra high performance' tires, and I personally think they're completely off the hook!

I'm running them on 17" OZ/Prodrive (P1) rims
my father runs them on 17" OZ Superleggaras

The traction on these thing is so good, that I have a hard time throwing the car off in another direction. Grip on the road is outragously good, and still allows for crisp sharp movement.

Anyone feel the same about these?

Town Fair Tire sells mine at $150 a tire. OUCH!
I had to replace one back in October because of a flat. The tire cost $114 if I remember, because it was apparently on 'sale'!

You might be able to find them other places locally that are cheaper. The online prices seem to be about $115 range per tire though.

The Avon ZZ1s are well worth it if you ask me. Just don't EVER use these in the winter.
Going to smack myself for not putting on the RE92s which will cost me $20 to do, and be safer. Still, hearing bad things about the stock tires doesn't really make me feel any better.

Gotta love that 'W' rating on these too! Means you can pump out all the speed on these as you want from a WRX!

This is what mine look like
