Ive been getting some conflicting information about which TPMS tool to get for my '17 Limited. I plan to run a set of winter tires mounted and with TPMS. Since the local shops all charge for tire swap and reprogramming if I didn't buy the tires from them, I figured I'd just do the swap myself as well as the reprogram.

Has anyone have experience with either one of the Ateq units? I'm leaning towards the VT36 since it can do more than the Quickset in the event I have issues with figuring out sensor ID. The other way I am thinking of is to just forego the TPMS entirely and just run the winters without. Bit of black tape will take care of the warning light till summer rolls around again.
