I have seen official announcements that starting in 2017 the Impreza has Apple CarPlay. Staring with 2018 models the Crosstrek and Outback have Apple CarPlay. I have not seen anything official regarding the 2018 WRX or STI.

Does anyone know for sure if the 2018 WRX does or does not come with Apple CarPlay?

The current MY does not have Apple CarPlay. When Subaru decides to upgrade the WRX/STI to the new global platform is when it is speculated that it will be introduced -- don't quote me on that though.

the 2018 wrx/sti does not have android auto or apple car-play. on top of that im pretty sure they have the exact same head unit as 2017.
