ive been waiting.

also, if i was to buy just a muffler and get a custom downpipe, that would cause a CEL light to show righT?
i dont understand what would make a CEL light up, for example if one was to buy an exhaust (like the nur spec) which does away with the third cat, how does the company make it so a CEL doesnt light up?

Actually you can just use the JDM spec. Same thing just a couple of inches longer is all. I have a downpipe that will bolt on or you can cut it down. Removing second cat will trigger CE light but not with my downpipe. Taking out 3rd cat or pre cat will NOT trigger any CE lights.

Well the b-pipe is longer so obviously the JDM downpipe has to be shorter. Muffler? No that is identical. Only the b-ppe has to be cut down a couple of inches is all. It should stick out normally like any other exhaust. Another option I recently picked up is the Borla. No idea how loud it is but pretty cheap and full stainless. They have always sounded great on other cars. They really do make great mufflers. Yes, hearing me praise a US company is extremely rare so take note folks.

dan are you gonna make another downpipe once the usdm blitz exhaust comes out?
can i order the JDM nurspec through you? or any other store?

and is the piece on the right the downpipe?
(this is the m2 turboback)

* a turbo back exhaust just means it includes the downpipe right?

Correct:
turbo back= cat back + downpipe (complete)

I use the word complete there because some companies make the downpipe two pieces like the stock one which can be misleading for the consumer. All Japanese companies and myself make it one piece.
I'll hopefully get the USDM downpipe mocked up this week (I have to borrow customer's car). I'm a Blitz Distributor so yes but you can also order it from any other Blitz distributor also.

God, I have the Nurspec muffler section...is there any hope of one day getting the mid-pipe for it? Would I need to have the muffler section flange modified to match up to the 80mm midpipe flange? I think I made a mistake in getting the rear section only...:( Looks and sounds great...but lacks in flow.:p

mario,

Aftermarket full exhaust systems are mandrel-bent stainless steel making them smooth flowing, long-lasting, and pretty. This description is not typical of what the "muffler shop" exhaust guy turns out.

Actually if you buy the bends any muffler shop can make you a nice mandrel bent system. You'll need to track down some flanges but that's about it. NOSS, you can have a muffler shop do it if they are good. We can do it if you're local but we're not exhaust specialists so we'd probably charge more than your local muffler shop. Not that bad though. Take a couple of hours is all.
