Hey so I went to go look at a 2011 wrx with 67k miles rebuilt title. All he changed was the front bumper and headlight no frame damage. He’s on flex fuel and has a bov.
The thing I notice he is missing is an air injection pump. That gives air to the cats people do a delete but get a tune the guy is 45ish year old and ran the car that way for 6 months. Do you think that’s bad or it’s not something I should worry about? I guess my final question for now is would you guys buy the car or no? And do you guys think there could be problems down the road or now with the engine due to there being no air injection pump?

Mine didn't have an air pump. Deleted it along with the tgvs.

I may be mistaken but you should be fine as long as the ECU tune handles the codes.

Depends on how thorough the inspection happens to be.

OP, given that the car is tuned on Ethanol, it's unlikely that the factory cats are even in place. This could pose a problem for inspection as well.
