Afr erratic during tuning process....

Strange problem during tuning on fresh build afr seems to.be erratic despite "perfect" fuel/ignition tables sways between 12.5 to 14.8.....further when cooling fans come on afr spike to 20.0 and dies. This also happens when you turn lights on or HVAC...

Before I get too many critics I will say this I have done many many things to diagnose this already many very extreme but no one's perfect so I'm open to all ideas even if I've tried them...

Here's the build as follows

2004 wrx
EJ257
Treated crank
Manley turbo tuff rods
Cp stock compression pistons
1/2 INCH Studed heads
Gsc 272 cams
Gsc beehive Springs
Gsc valves...etc
Dom 1.5 xtr turbo
Gsc ebc
Haltech platinum pro ecu
Haltech flex fuel sensor
AEM 3.5 bar MAP W/IAT
DW1000CC injectors
Dw300 fuel pump
Aermotive fpr
custom FMIC
CRAWFORD AOS

GUAGES:
WIDE BAND
BOOST
OIL PRESSURE
FUEL PRESSURE
OIL TEMP
FUEL TEMP
EGT
BATT VOLTAGE

That's the basics
Thanks

How about listing what you've done so far...
That's a long list more looking for where people's minds go as far as diagnosing

Could be a bad injector(s).. I went through four sets of Dontwerks 1300s, and none of them came with four working injectors. In each set at least one or two injectors would stick open or closed.
Would think that would cause a misfire though? I mean it's an easy swap

Mine never misfired.. sometimes they would dump a ton of fuel, some times none at all. It would be lean, so I would go into the map and add more fuel, and it would be even more lean... or, the AFR would be just right, then suddenly it would be super rich at the same load/rpm that it was fine just a minute ago. DW would only offer replacements, so I would send the injectors in, they would test them, verify that they weren't working right, then it would be 4-6 months before they would send me the replacements (they said because they were constantly backed up with a very large number of returns). I would get the replacements and it would do the same thing.. or the opposite. I spent two years with them replacing non-working injectors with other non-working injectors before I started raising hell about it. Finally they agreed to give me a refund since it was obvious that their injectors simply did not work.. then it took another 14 months for them to actually get the money back to me. In that time period I knew five other people with the same injectors, and every one of them suffered injector failure within a six month period, two of them resulting in catastrophic engine failure. I'm convinced they were just taking the non-functional returns and shipping them back out to the next person.

As soon as I put some PE injectors in it all the AFR issues were gone.

I'm guessing you are talking about Power Enterprise (PE) injectors? Never really heard of them, or read much about them. Do you think they are as good, same, or better than Injector Dynamics injectors?

Never heard of power enterprise either

I will say this OP, I have heard so many stories about DW injectors failing. I plan on putting ID1000's in my sti when its time for fueling upgrades. Hopefully switching to ID's will fix it for you.

I haven't had a problem with them, but they're old, and they were given to me for free. They had sat full of e85 for way too long and the seals were shot. I bought a new set of injector seals, popped them in, modified my injector scaling, and suddenly all my AFR issues were fixed.

They're not near big enough for the setup I have now, so I'm planning to get ID1700s once I figure out if the engine is ready to tune.

Before the PE and DW injectors I had JDM STI pink (565cc) injectors, which worked fine.. then I had them modified (uncapped) to ~860cc and they were alright, but there was a hesitation on throttle tip in. I think maybe fuel was pooling a little bit due to the poor spray pattern.
