I have an 05 wrx sedan and i plan on installing springs this weekend. I am going to run crucial sport springs on stock struts. I was wondering if i should cut the lower ring of the bumbstop off during install? I did some research and came up with mixed opinions. Its an 1.25in drop in the front and 1in in the back. Any help would be appreciated.

Follow the instructions. They are probably the best source of information.

Ya I would follow the directions but I bought them used and don't have Amy instructions and I can't find any online. I think crucials website is down because it always takes me to advertisement pages.
I'm just looking for someone who knows about suspension. It's only 1.25 drop in the front and 1 drop in the back so is cutting a ring necessary so it won't bottom out or am I ok without cutting it

I've also heard that u can get the most out of your springs but cutting it.
Thanks
