So, testing the water here, I'm putting my project of the last 7 years up for sale as I've moved onto a blob STI in pursuit of more power.

The car is a 2001 Y reg bugeye WRX with 92,000 miles on the clock.
MOT until January 2013.

This car has been very well cared for and has a service history folder about as thick as a Britannica!

I reckon I could easily make over £2000 just taking off most of the mods and selling them separately from the car, but I'd prefer the car to go to a good home and be enjoyed as is - it's a good looking motor, and I'd actually be sorry to have to put it back to standard - I'd rather someone else enjoy it!

I'm asking £3500 ono; this includes a set of winter (OEM WRX, minimal tread) and summer wheels (Inovit Redlines with Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas).

I also have a standard WRX bumper with UK300 splitter and STI fog covers, and OEM v7 STI WR Blue side skirts so can chop and change the look of the car for the right buyer if they want.

Cambelt and all pulleys were changed in March last year, and gearbox oil in September. It's due an oil change which I will be happy to do with Millers and OEM filter before it's handed over.

This car has been featured on TV as the prestine example for Wheeler Dealers, and also attended the legendary McRae Gathering a few years back.

PM me for more details, but please, no stupid offers (and yes, £500 less than the asking price is stupid in my eyes), and if you're not insured to drive the car, don't expect a test drive from anyone except me. Sorry to sound harsh, but it's easier said up front and saves wasted journies.

Anyone from Berkshire Scoobies, as well as several local tuners will be able to vouch that this car has been looked after.
It's a lot of car for the money, and it's been an extremely reliable and fun car to own for the last 7 years.

Interior and engine are both very tidy (see pics), however as with many cars of this age, there's a very minor bubbling of paint (1cm square?) on the front passenger side wing, a small scrape on the bottom right of the front bumper, and a small blemish on the centre console blowers.
Happy to provide photos if you want.

I have both original Subaru keys and alarm fobs as supplied with the vehicle.
