Cat-back exhaust is fine, but keep in mind that J-pipe require a tune.

Same goes for intake, don’t just slam parts on it without planning a dyno.

Thanks folks. It'll be a while till I do anything (spending my "extra" money on gas) and when I do I'm leaning towards getting one of the Cobb APs. Looks like those are the most idiot proof.
