Just installed Tein s tech lowering springs on my WRX. Love the looks and drop amount but at low speeds when parking and backing out I get an awful pop from the front right strut. Ive double checked everything and it looks good and is tight. Ive tried loosening the center strut bolt on the top hat and it seemed to work with no bind but Im nervous its not tight enough. I can't really torque it to an exact spec (41 lbs from what I've researched) since I don't have a pass through torque wrench. Im not really sure what to do or if loosening the top nut is the proper way to correct the bind. I took it into the dealer so they could check it out but all they said was to replace with factory springs, so no help there. Any ideas help, Thanks!
