a. SubiSpeed GCS V2
b. Seicane

These are the same manufacturer.

If the OctaCore version is back on the market, I would go with that.

I have a Seicane quad-core unit in my car.

Thanks for the reply mate, as mentioned the head unit is useless, with your Seicane unit do you need to have a separate mic installed or will it use the factory built in mic? How can i look for a good installer in my area (Morristown NJ) i move to US from Sydney Australia about 3 weeks ago.

I actually just use the Mic that's installed into the HU. Works well enough, but you can install the mic that comes with the head unit if you wish.

The Subaru mic has a proprietary interface and does not work with any aftermarket HU.
