2017 WRX Body Kits

Hi everyone,

I am wondering if anyone knows of some good looking wide body kits for the 2017 WRX. Front and rear diffusers/splitters would be nice too.

I know HT Autos makes a lip, rear diffuser, and side skirts kit that can be had on several vendors websites. I could be wrong, but I think they also make fender flares, but those would require you to drill the body of your car.
Don't ruin your brand new car.
It's wide enough. The fenders already have a nicely integrated flair to them. A front lip looks nice though. I agree with Zach, don't 'autozone' your car.
All of the Subarus around here are autozoned. Basically the laziest possible "modifications" -- bolt-on fender flares, wing risers, tow hooks, poorly fit wheels, and lower brake lights.

I'll admit, I have thought about the lower brake light...only because it looks like something should be there. I'm pretty sure the JDM has the brake light by default...the S4 for example.

edit: and boy would I love the rear window with the wiper.

brb just going to autozone my car real quick

i'd be lying if I said I haven't considered the lower brake light though lol. ultimately i don't want to deal with wiring though.
I'll be "that guy."

The lower brake light is obnoxious. It is about 500% brighter than typical brake lights and most of them flash on a delay circuit (F1 style). Driving 5 seconds behind a car with one of these installed and you will want to knock the owner clean out.

lol don't get me wrong, I completely agree with you, which played into part of my decision not to get it. If anything, i'd like to get one that is a reverse light, as opposed to braking. but still, the hassle outweighs the benefit for me.
Wide body kids look terrible 99.9% of the time. Respect your vehicle

There is a version 2. It does NOT do the F1 style brake light. There is also a version with a darker plastic (dark grey/smoked) that prevents it from being so bright. It has a switch in the trunk that also allows it to function as a driving/fog light instead of a brake light. This would be my preference. I agree with you otherwise because I've seen it.

edit: link w/ example of v2
Wide body kits are trending currently. Just make sure you get it done right if you decide to customize your car.
I have the JDM rear low fog light. It's wired up to turn on with the rest of the car lights and does not brighten with the brake lights. I have a LED bulb and actually dimmed the intensity with a couple wraps of window tint to make it no brighter than the rest of the tail lights. I never liked the flashy brake light nor do I think an additional one is needed, but I think the rear end looks nicer with it rather than the plug.
Thanks for all the feed back. Aside from the obvious wide body hate what do you guys think of splitters/diffusers?
I tend to agree with ideals above, the car is wide enough. Wider wheels may suffice to fill the space more effectively, without spacers. The car sits well. No need to lower it. Yet, it is your car. Enjoy it -

There are better things to spend money on. Riveting a bunch of heavy crap to your car isn't doing you any favors in performance, reliability, or economy.
