This was the first time I have EVER been on a track, started out around 59.8 seconds, we got 5 timed runs(best official was 58.197), unlimited post runs and my best of the day was the on the 6th run at 56.017! not too shabby for a bone stock 2018 STi on the summers.

I never thought I'd enjoy Time Attack as much as I did, cant wait for summer to start and a new season to begin!

we need another showdown! racing on Sunday was too much fun! I'll admit defeat this time!
Can you share what track you were on (I can't see the videos)? What type of configuration (example NOLA Motorsports: 2.7 mile / 16 turn track)? If I can pry a bit more, what are considered fast times?

I think we both did above average for the 1st time ever at the track in new cars!
That looks like a pretty cool event. Sort of like SOLO 1 used to be. When it said Time Attack, I was thinking more of the time attack trials at the HPDE events. These are basically open passing events, for the fastest lap for yourself. These have national implications at times.

This event seems much more controlled and much more conducive to first time experience on a track. Good for all of you that participated.
Wow. The late model STi's were near the bottom and the late model WRX was dead last.

The Owner was almost 1st in is Mazda (if his times were to count), its not about the car my friends. its all about the driver.
so Don't be so mislead.
1. the 2 late model STi's were kenzie and I..first time drivers AND completely bone stock.
2. the WRX driver was HORRIBLE..he sucked..plain and simple
3. This class was UNRESTRICTED...it was purely drivetrain and HP/Weight that qualified for this class. Many of these cars are stage 3+ pushing well over 400HP, but dyno sheets or proof weren't required.
Heres an example that I liked.
First, Forget about Greg Paine, he's actually an Autox contender at the National Level.. he knows WTF he's doing..
the 2 Focus RSs on there were fully built. Upgraded Stoptech Brakes, FMIC, Full Bolt ons, Tuned.
...and their best time was only 3 seconds better than kenzie's and 4 seconds better than mine...and I was on freakin all season tires.
