First couple days with the new car. 2017 Wrx premium 6 spd. And already realizing it's gonna need a tune once Cobb has the new software figured out. Anyone else with a 17 notice rediculous boost at like 1/4 throttle? Barely touching the gas around 2700 rpm shows 15-19psi on the factory gauge anyway. Haven't laid into at all till my "break in" is complete.

I've seen folks chime in similar threads with upwards of 21psi stock. Because the throttle curve isn't liner you are likely further than quarter throttle in reality. The boost pressures are also going to vary depending on gear and load on the engine. So you'll see different boost numbers pulling up hill in 4th than going down the same hill in 4th

I have seen the new FA20F engine peak boost at 22.7 PSI on a 2015 WRX (with TBE) and a 2016 WRX (stock). Both 6 speed manual transmission.
