Hey all, my gf has a 2017 WRX and I've been doing some neglected maintenance like brakes and I noticed the tensioner or idler pulley making noise. I ordered a kit for the serpentine belt and tensioner, but for some reason I can't for the life of my figure out how to replace the tensioner. Not my first rodeo, but I mainly work on euro cars, never subies. The tensioner I got in the kit was just a cylinder with a pulley attached to it. Seems like all the kits I could order for it are the same. What am I missing? I can't find a diy for the fa20 engine anywhere. Thanks!

It's one bolt. Put a socket on the pulley bolt & rotate to remove or apply tension. Mounting bolt goes through the hole in steel cylinder. FSM is available somewhere online and lists bolt torque for it. Use the diagram on parts site as reference:
