2016 WRX Limited LED High Beams

I have googled this and never found an answer to it and stumbled to this forum so figured i’d give it a shot. I own a 2016 Limited WRX and know it has the LED headlights but wanna swap that halogen high beams out for LED’s too. How do I go about that? Can I just buy the bulbs and throw them in or need the conversion kit? Any help would be appreciated a ton thank you.

Why would you want to put a worse headlight on your car? Especially the brights?

Idk if I worded it wrong or what but i’m aware my car has led headlights. The high beams are not though I just wanna replace the halogen bulb with an LED one to match my headlights. So I wasn’t sure if I could buy the bulbs and just throw them in or need to just replace the entire thing. It’s why I asked before jumping the gun cause I couldn’t find an answer anywhere else.
I mean... do you drive around with your high-beams on much at car meets?? I'd just leave it how it is.

I got the car in May and have been using them pretty frequently honestly. I just want to know if I can get an led bulb and replace it or need an entire kit. Cause if that’s the case I won’t even bother.
Since you use the lights frequently you’d be best served by the correct beam pattern. The halogen bulb provides that; I find it unlikely that an LED dropped into that housing would.

My experience with led headlights in any level is very poor. Just replacement bulbs scatter light too far in reflector housings and most replacement housings with the proper HID style projector fittings are low quality.

Thank you, much appreciated 🙏
I have a 2016 STI limited and I hated how the DRL/high beam looked yellow. Went on amazon got a set of BEAMTECH 9005 LED Bulbs. They look amazing and fit perfect. They completely change the look of the headlights during the day. As for night time driving idk never had to use them. My led low beam and led fog lights are bright enough for my night time driving needs.

Greatly appreciate the help! I’ll have to check that out for sure and do my homework see what I like best.
I swapped all my lights with leds couldn’t be happier with the results.
