Yes, you're loading up components in the driveline and then suddenly unloading everything by stepping on the clutch.... and clunk. One of the parking spots In the public lot here at work (preferred, as its a corner spot) is right beside the entrance ramp (the lot is elevated 2 ft from the road). Really easy to clunk it here since going up that sharp incline loads everything up more than doing the same on flat ground, and immediately after I get over the ramp I've gotta stomp on the clutch to prevent stalling. The solution here is to just bump it into gear enough to build the momentum needed to move that few feet without ever fully engaging the clutch. In other words, slip the clutch a little. It's OK, it was designed to do this.
