2016 Wrx - Broken Door Arm Rest - Covered under 3yr/36k?

I bought a used 2016 Wrx and the driver's door arm rest is clearly broken on the inside. The cushion is more/less concave at rest and you can feel it in your elbow.

Any ideas if this would be warranted under the 3yr/36k warranty? I suspect it's worth trying, they may of had some poor quality runs on the door panels at one point.

Thanks-

Since you just bought it maybe your dealer would give you a good Will repair. I doubt it they'll fix it under the 3year/36 as it seems like it's physical damage or wear and tear

The car is from a Dodge dealer and I rather not do much more work with them. I was thinking it is likely wear/tear, but I may ask when I get near a dealer. I was hoping it may be a common issue of sort.
Wouldn't hurt to run it by a Subaru dealership, worst they can say is no. I don't see it being a very pricey repair either. I've taken my doors apart a few times now, probably takes all of 5 minutes to take that piece out.
I'm with Steemax. about 2 weeks after I got my car, I had it waxed at my local regular place. They accidentally broke one of the center A/C vents, took it into the dealership to see if they'd take care of it and they replaced it for free under warranty. Wouldn't hurt to try.
