Normal for mine. Though I find that some point in the upper RPMs, WOT does not bog the car. Don't know what this point is cuz I don't watch tach when up there; too busy watching for deer and other cars.
This pretty much nails itIt has everything to do with the stock throttle mapping. This reason alone is why it took me so long to master moving from a stop and going over speed bumps (learned how to drive a manual the day I got it).
My dealership is mod friendly so they installed an AP and the OTS Cobb tune fixes this with their throttle map. The difference is night and day, it allows you to drive the car how you want to drive it by being much more predictable and no more surges of speed just to let off or press the brakes. I currently have a Stage 1 BrenTuning eTune and I feel that is hands down the best improvement I've done to the car so far. 40% throttle is actually 40% throttle and it pulls harder and more consistently over the powerband.
The throttle map from the factory is very sensitive and makes the car feel faster at first because you're accelerating faster by pressing the pedal less but it also peaks around 40% so when you're WOT it's pretty much the same thing. I don't like this, don't know why they included this from the factory but it is what it is.
So which is the real you? This avatar or the previous one? I like this one man.
Haha! :rotfl: The previous picture is the real me, this one is me with a Snapchat filter that makes your cheeks big and adds glasses. So which is the real you? This avatar or the previous one? I like this one man.

As mentioned with the throttle mapping. Unlike older cable driven cars the pedal to throttle position isn't linear. That accounts for a lot of what you are feeling. You've also got to contend with getting the power transfered to the ground effectively. If you are just flat footing it from a roll you are likely pulling through a lower gear fast enough it doesn't feel as quick because of the sooner shift.

I don't see any avatars, at all, since Tapatalk pushed is recent update. So which is the real you? This avatar or the previous one? I like this one man.
Is it only because you bought the car from them that they are mod friendly? Or would they cover others warranty claims as well even though the car wasn't bought from them? Hmm..It's in Maryland where I live.
They're mod friendly only if they've installed the mods themselves. I'm not sure if you have to purchase the car initially from them to allow them to install mods or not but I got mine from them and my Stage 1. They have a stage 2 WRX on their showroom floor for sale, they get sold very quickly once they're out. The picture I have of the upgrade list that was sitting in the rear view mirror isn't the clearest but here it is.Is it only because you bought the car from them that they are mod friendly? More or less, we'll agree to disagree to prevent a debate, haha. I do understand and see your perspective though. Those cars have zero factory warranty. They are warrantied at that dealer alone out of their own pocket. One simple change at that dealership and any coverage you hope to have is gone. Happens all the time.

Actually, it looks like the STS is $790.$370 for rally armor mud flaps. Am I reading this right? Defuq?
From what I can make out, some of the other items are also grossly marked up. Like that short throw shiftier, is that $700+ I see?
