2015 WRX might have a bad turbo?

Howdy!

I have been searching all over to see if others had this same issue I just experienced today. I had this WRX for a month now with only 7700K miles on it. I was about 5 minutes into my drive going to visit some friends and as I shifted out of 2nd to 3rd at about 4-5000 RPMs the car made a big SWOOSH sound which i am assuming is the turbo. and it kind of sounds like its giving off all the pressure. I opened the hood and cant find anything out of the ordinary either.

Now when I make a complete stop and let the clutch in, it fluctuates the idle from 600 down to 200 then feels like it stalls and dies. When I got it going again, it seemed that the turbo was not giving any power but the screen in the car shows pressure. When driving the CEL is on now along with the slope assist, cruise control (flashing) and one other light I think might of been the stability control? I wanted to grab a photo but forgot to.

The car is dropped off at the dealer now, but I really want to know what this could be?

The dealer will tell you in writing. They have the car; it's difficult to diagnose something like this remotely. I'm betting a loose connection anywhere on the pressure side but again, nobody here has the car in front of them.

Well see. Knowing my luck its going be something that leaves me without the car for a week.

There wasn't a gaping hole in the intercooler? In any case get a loaner car from the dealer.

I didnt see anything out of ordinary. I wish I was able to pick up a loaner today, but they wouldnt do it with the service center closed!
