I have a 2013 STi right now but I'm kinda tired from the noise and rough ride ...I was thinking of getting a 2018 WRX . Would I be disappointed ? If so why ? I know the obvious 305hp vs 268 , no wing , dccd etc

If you're doing it for some more creature comforts and the like why not go other brands

I replace items in my Subaru to increase NVH, so...

Do you use the DCCD? I've hardly ever taken mine out of Auto in 120K miles.

If you don't like the harshness of the STI, the WRX is a good alternative, if you like other aspects to the way your STI drives. If you're worried about the horspower drop, you can always do a S1 reflash, which should put you up closer to stock STI power output, but you'd be risking warranty claim denial if something happened with the engine / transmission.

Do you like to modify your cars? Can you see modifying the vehicle to the point where the transmission becomes a potential weak point?

Do you like to do motorsports events (e.g., Auto-X, HPDE, etc.)? That's where the STI really shines, where you're pushing the vehicle to limits you can't attain on public roadways.
