I'm having trouble finding the cause of this sound. It is like an oscillating hum/vibration. I can feel the vibration in the pedals and floor of the car. It is low pitched and not super loud. Also it is not dependent on gear (heard in neutral, 4th,5th around 55-65mph) it only changes speed with the speed of the car. It has slowly gotten louder over the past 25k miles.
From my experience wheel bearings change pitch when you swerve left/right/ accelerate but this does not. And u joints/axles usually make noise at low speeds/accelerating/turning.
Any ideas what I should check?
