2010 WRX owner
Hey guys I have a 2010 Wrx. Im just wondering what exhaust everyone recommends, i want the boxer growl, not some ricey sounding stuff. I recently took my mufflers off to see if I liked how it sounded, and I did, only issue was I was gassing myself like it was the 1940's. Do you guys recommend a catback or a full turbo back? I want to do a 3" downpipe but im not sure if I'd have to mess with the turbo at all in order to run it. Also because I'm just a 17 year old kid (and yes I did buy the car with my own money so its not "daddies money") so I dont have a ton of money to spend on a exhaust, looking to spend less than 950$

If you liked it without a muffler then go with nameless muffler delete. Like Xjman said if you only get either an axle back or catback it will not require a tune. anything with the Jpipe will need a tune
The cheapest option would be to go to a muffler shop and have them take off your mufflers. Depending on where you live, maybe the resonator too. But just taking the muffler off gives you a nice rumble, sometimes a pop. I don't have inspections, so I sit here pretty comfortably
