Asking $4,200 for my well kept Forester with ~108,000k miles.
Looking for a new home for me beloved 2003 Forester 2.5XS.
I am the original owner. This car has never been in an accident or severely damaged in any way. The major body damage is on the front right above the driver's side headlight (headlight is unaffected) there's a minor dent. Besides that there's some minor surface rust on the back of the trunk. Along with the cost of being nearly a 15 year old car it comes with the typical scars of some minor door dings and scratches as well as a key mark down the passengers side.
Aesthetically it's in pretty damn good shape for its age. Mechanically it needs a little TLC as the rear drivers hub is broken thus when under braking it catches and then disengaged briefly causing it to lurch at times. Minor thing is the stud on the front tire needs to be replaced. Engine wise the car is solid. Major work that was completed were the head gaskets were fixed (common issue) along with the radiator and water pump replaced. All maintenance has been done to date and throughout the cars life on time. All records are on hand of everything done to the car. 110% stock. Just crossed the 108k mile mark and still going strong. None of the issues mentioned above prevent the car from driving as I am still daily driving it without any issues. It just needs some worth to be smoothed out.
I've never been stranded by this car and it has been a really good ownership experience. Reluctantly I am putting it for sale since a new car is arriving soon or else I would be keeping it. I am looking to sell sooner than later as I am going to be posting on Craig's list very soon but wanted to start here first since I want it to find a good home.
