I used my AccessPORT to pull codes PO546 (EGT Sensor Circuit High Output) and P1312 (EGT Sensor Malfunction). I know why I threw the PO546, but I've had the P1312 for about 2 weeks now. Anyone know how I would fix this? New sensor?

P.S. Would the PO546 be caused by P1312?

Well, the 2 codes certainly sound like they're related.

I know why I threw the PO546
And why is that?

Do you have a catless UP? Is your factory EGT sensor still in place in the UP or has it been removed and replaced by the "resistor mod"?

No. I was actually racing my friend in his 2003 WRX (manual). We both went stage 1 yesterday and we decided to do some comparison runs. We got like 5-6 runs in. Same results as Stock 4EAT vs. Stock 5-Speed, except we hit higher speeds. He won each time by about 1 car's length.

Any Up pipe cat code is not good. You do not want to overheat the cats in your uppipe.

I'd look into either a new sensor or just installing an UP that's catless rather soon.
