Just as the subject line says. 17 X 7.5 or 17 X 8.5? These will be summer rims only. If i'm looking for something to handle wet weather should I just stick w/ the 17 X 7.5?

I know this is more of a tire issue, but wider tires dont exactly handle in the wet (like all the +1 size articles I've read say)...

Alittle help?

regardless of the size of the rim, without offset information or tire brand/size/model, you won't even know if you will rub.

you ask 7.5 or 8.5, but neither is better in any regards. the 8.5 will hold more tire, but may require fender mods to fit some tires.

The offsets would be +48.

Not sure on the tires yet. Maybe michelin, pirelli, or yokohama. Depends what I can get. I'll just stick with the 7.5s
