Recently my subie threw a crank pos. sensor code at me. I saw on this overhaulin show that the crank sprocket teeth could be broken, causing the sensor to miss-read. has anyone here had any problems with their 15+ wrx crank sprocket? or does anyone have any input on my situation? I just replaced the starter, and cleaned my sensors. sensors appear to be in working order.

Are the sensors identical on your model? If so, what happens if you swap them?

On my car the crank and cam sensors are identical.

If they are on yours also my thought was you could swap them and see if the CEL goes from crank to cam angle.
