I feel that the steering ratio, or whatever its called, is a little too slow for my taste on the wrx. I would like it to turn more with less wheel movement. I was wondering if the steering is noticeable quick on the 05 STi.

It's an improvement on the STi. I'm not sure that's so much from the steering though. I think it has more to do with the front LSD, wider and stickier tires, and stiffer suspension.

smaller wheel i *think*, so probably feels quicker even if it isnt, and yea, everything else makes it feel quicker.

The STi should have closer ratio on the steering rack than the wrx..
(at least on the EDM version, I don't know on the USDM version)
The Evo4-6 (not sure of the rest) have even slightly faster steering than the sti.

The LSD will ofcourse have some/much affect on turning the car.

So slightly offtopic.. Will the STi -05 steering rack fit the wrx?

Actually, it is a faster ratio rack and was improved from 04 due to the complaints that it was too slow. Regardless, it's still only marginally slower than the MR.

Coming from an SRT and and Eagle before that the STi is like a razor.
