Hello guys/gals
My brother has an 04 wrx that we were trying to flash a new map on with a cobb ap v2. Progress got to 60% then lost connection or something and stopped. Now it is in recovery mode and cannot get it to communicate with the ecu no matter what I do. I have contacted Cobb support and they said there is nothing they can do since they do not support or service the V2 any longer. Told me I could trade it in towards a newer version but don't really have the money for that right now and really just need the car running and driving again. If anyone has an idea as to what I could do, please let me know. I am located about 30 minutes north of Cincinnati if anyone is close and could maybe tune it another way with a laptop if that is even possible. Thanks.

Try a different USB cable. Try unplugging the battery for a while then plugging it back in. Make sure the ap is updated as well.

You may also try giving turn in concepts a call in Cincinnati.
