I have a 02 WRX as a daily and my tires are almost worn out, and the wheels are bent + not in the best condition as well (visually speaking).

So I was thinking about getting new rims and tires.

Currently running
Stock Rims: 16 x 6.5, +53mm
DWS 06: 205/55/16

Planning
Konig Oversteer: 16 x 7.5, +45mm (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K6KY6CM)
DWS 06: 225/50/16 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PUG4KN2)

For 86.40 per rim, 110 per tire and free shipping, the total would run around 785 plus tax. Personally I think it's a pretty sweat deal.

The only thing that is concerning me is the fenders clearance and offset. The brakes and suspension should clear but I am not sure about if there's enough space for fenders (although I often see people run like 18x9.25 without problem, how do you do that lol).

A friend of mine said it is recommended to do +48mm or +50mm offset on a 7.5 wheel, so I was just wondering how much more wear and damage would 3mm to 5mm of offset do to my suspension i.e. bearing? These pressed in two piece bearings are kinda PITA and was just recently done on the car. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

UPDATE
The new wheels and tires worked fine. Didn't hear any rubbing and didn't smell any rubber burning. Had to get tuner lugs because stock lug nut didn't fit. Also forgot to tell tell tire place not to put stick on weights because they hit the calipers in the front. Should have gotten 18s oh well. I learned.

Though kind of disappointed, stock looked better than these Konig Oversteers.
