gauge sandwich adapter

I ordered a Prosport oil pressure gauge and i am planning on using the sandwich adapter. I was wondering if i could use this greddy sandwich adapter with my prosport gauge? Also, will i have to modify anything to install it on my 07 wrx? I also want to know if i should even go with the sandwich...
