If possible I would like to see support for Tapatalk on ClubWRX. Tapatalk is a mobile app that provides a easy to use interface for communicating on a forum when using a mobile device. It is supposedly really easy to integrate support and is explained here. The app is available across multiple platforms so there is no restriction to the user regarding their choice of mobile platform.
I am more than willing to be a beta tester if need be.

I asked the site owner about this a month or so ago, and I think he's onboard with the concept. He'll need to put in some code on the server side to make it work.
Hopefully he'll get around to it soon. It would be great for me on the iPhone/iPad.![]()

Good to hear Ray, I'm also down for being a test ***** if needed. Ye olde iPhone needs to serve a purpose every once in a while.

Your nighttime volunteer of near-useless information.
Good news, everyone!
How about an android app too if at all possable... I would love to have an iphone, but don't want to switch to at&t or pay full retail for 1...

Yes... you need engine management for engine modifications

I'd rather see a mobile site over tapatalk, which frankly I'm not too keen of. Mobile opens the doors more than to just a few platforms.
I would prefer mobile as well, but I am guessing it is much easier to integrate tapatalk over a full mobile version. I'd be up for both options.
EDIT: Especially when I get back to school. I need to continue my sooby forum addiction in the most convenient form possible while in class.

I'm not familiar with what it would take to convert it to a mobile-formatted site. Perhaps it's an easy thing to do. I know that the Tapatalk stuff is just a few lines of code inserted into an appropriate vBulletin PHP file. (or so I'm lead to believe)
I'm going to shoot an email to Tim to point this thread out to him.

yeah, tapatalk is just a plugin for vbb which I'm sure is easy to integrate. I don't believe that it has 'mobile' support as most of the forums which IB owns seem to have poor mobile support, and they develop/own VBB.
This would be better for me too. My iPhone is my primary web device. I have a laptop, but it hardly gets used.
Please Tim? What are the costs to the administrative side?

I've seen it as an option on Nasioc, but only if it were on here would I actually make the purchase of tapatalk.

You can get the free version, but it's read-only, no posting. That won't work for me, because then I couldn't randomly ban people that I don't like.
There are currently 28 Subaru forums listed in the Tapatalk directory...it would be nice to add us in there! AWDPirates and Nasioc are on there.

Nasioc is like Walmart for me. Lots of stuff, but I can't help feeling dirty after visiting. ClubWRX is home, has been for years. Here's hoping Tim goes with Tapatalk!!
