I got the same thing, so I just paid with my debit card and downloaded their program. No more issues now!

The goofy part is now I think my online banking site has a virus. I just checked my balance and it is zero.

Is it clear now? If not.. Did you run the program in safe mode?

Found this information on your "antivirus-scanner8.com" malware:

    antivirus-scanner8.com - Information

Their recommended fix is running the malwarebytes scanner thing, but other people that have had this virus are getting zero return results when scanning for it with malwarebytes.

If you keep getting the problem, I suggest posting up in their forum: GeekPolice

Unfortunately, Malware can be pretty tricky. You could visit a site that has a bogus malware ad that will hijack future sites you go to. Myspace and Facebook are constantly being hit with malware. Without having more information or pulling a firebug of the page, I can't really offer more information. But you should definitely be able to get rid of it with a quality scanner malwarebytes/adaware/etc. I personally recommend Avast.

To be on the safe-side, be sure to back up all your pics and important data. Good luck getting rid of it!

I got this too, but it wasn't so bad. I just used CCleaner to remove it and it worked. I don't visit many other sites so I'm guessing it did come from this site.

Have you tried Ad-Aware? They're usually pretty good about it as well
