    2014 Focus ST

Hey all, so my 2015 WRX is coming in soon and I thought I'd post a for sale on here too, to try and expedite things a bit. My car is very well taken care of, oil changes every 3k miles (3 months about, sometimes 4) with fully synthetic, only has about 7350 miles, and of course a clear title. Bone stock aside from the 40% tint and the mudflaps, also has steel wheels wrapped in General Altimax winter tires but of course I have the stock summers that are almost new. I'm looking to get $19,000 for the car with both sets of wheels. Ah also the stripes are factory, it was an option I opted for (~$500).

How did you like driving the ST compared to the WRX by the way bro?

I actually never drove one let alone sat in one...

Ah I haven't driven my WRX yet but it's almost here! Lol as soon as I get some wheel time with my WRX I'll be sure to post up a comparison on here, compared to my friend's 2009 WRX though the ST feels less grippy (obviously), and I just like the rawness of the WRX more. Different folks different strokes I suppose haha.

Hahaha well I don't wanna sound biased but a big reason I went with a WRX was just the raw power compared to the ST, GTI, Ralliart, so I feel you.

But yea keep us posted and let us know. I wonder if the new RS/ST Ford is releasing really will hold its own against our WRX's though...

    God speed...

Yeah the WRX is a really nice car, I can't justify an ST over a WRX anymore haha.

This is interesting. The ST is grippier and corners harder (stock for stock) than virtually any WRX except the 2015 WRX. In part, this is the Eagle F1 tyres but Ford did an utterly epic job in chassis tuning for the Focus ST. The older WRXs... well let's just say Subaru did a pretty shoddy job with chassis tuning. Too much body roll, too much body flex, and the 50/50 power split with lack of LSDs left the WRX in another lane during power-on.

With the 2015, however, I believe you will be pleased. The chassis tuning from the factory is a bit less racy compared to the ST, but it's close. You're already familiar with the faux-LSD brake torque vectoring.

Absolutely. The RS should best all Subaru models in virtually every category.

Ford values drop faster then the ST can corner.

As will performance Subarus when the market is flooded after everyone sells theirs for the RS.
